Perhaps you’ve seen the Dos Equis commercials featuring the man that all men aspire to become (sorta). The commercials humorously describe “the most interesting man in the world” with lines such as:

• When in Rome, they do as he does.
• His personality is so magnetic he’s unable to carry credit cards.
• Even enemies list him as their emergency contact.
• He once had an awkward moment, just to see how it feels.
• He challenged his reflection to a staring contest, and on the third day he won.

The book of Genesis describes for us a time when Adam was the most interesting man in the world…and, yes, he just happened to be the only man in the world. But as we will see tonight, he had an insanely interesting and fulfilling life, with one exception. Tonight we will look at what could happen to a single man, even if he were to be the most interesting man in the world.
